The main purpose of this initiative is to organize an annual scientific conference of Romanian (and Romanian-speaking) academic economists. The participants are mainly Romanian academic economists affiliated with foreign universities/research institutes abroad (the main targeted category), as well as their colleagues working in Romania. Similar projects, i.e. targeting the annual get-together of academically relevant, internationally acknowledged, national economists, have been implemented on a regular basis in other European countries such as France, Germany, Greece, or more recently, Hungary.
The conference will take place over 3 days, on July 29-31, 2015 being hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Babeš-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
The call for papers is open since January 15, 2015. The deadline for paper submission is March 15 2015, 23.59 hour (GMT+2=Romania time). Detailed information is available in sections Call for papers and Important dates.
