Call for Papers

Main Conference Details

Target audience

Submissions are expected considering a broad range of interest topics in the area of accounting research. Papers will be subjected to a double blind review process. Accepted papers will be included in the corresponding events’ schedule in accordance to the approached topic. A discussant will be assigned for each presented paper. A selection of best papers will benefit from written feedback provided by members of the Scientific Committee.

Submission guidelines

Papers should be submitted through email to professor Carmen Giorgiana Bonaci (at carmen.bonaci@gmail.com). Submitted papers must be full papers that are written in English in accordance to a high quality research paper style. There are no special format or template requirements for the submission.

The submission deadline is September 15, 2017. Following the review process, a decision will be made and notified in up to 2 weeks after the submission date.

Publication opportunities

Publication opportunities in local journals are facilitated by conference presentation. Interested authors can find more details on the conference’s website.

Registration procedure

Authors of accepted papers will be required to revise their paper in accordance to the reviewer’s comments and resubmit the final form of their paper. The convention fee is of €150 per participant and includes participation in the Main Conference and Doctoral Colloquium, convention bag and materials, coffee breaks, lunches and gala dinner. Participants affiliated to AFER member universities benefit of a 50% discount for the convention fee.

The registration form should be filled in and payment proof should be sent via the website at http://www.econ.ubbcluj.ro/aac2017/registration.php.

PhD students benefit of a reduced fee of 75 Euro. The registration form is available on this webpage.

One of the authors of an accepted paper must have completed the registration procedure in order for it to be included within the convention program. All the participants must fill in the registration form in order to participate at the Convention events.

Deadlines

The submission deadline is: September 15, 2017.

The deadline for registration is: October 5, 2017.

Accommodation

Recommended hotels: Hotel Univers T (3 stars, 5 min. walking distance), City Plaza Hotel (4 stars, 10 min. driving) and Opera Plaza Hotel (5 stars, 15 min. walking distance).

Travel information
