DEPARTAMENTUL DE STATISTICĂ PREVIZIUNI MATEMATICĂ
Departamentul asigură sustinerea obligatiilor didactice la urmatoarele niveluri de instruire (licenta, masterat si scoala doctorala) pentru disciplinele de matematica si statistica. Printre cursurile oferite se numara: Metode computationale de estimare, Matematici aplicate in economie, Teoria Jocurilor, Matematici financiare si actuariale, Cercetari operationale, Criptografie, Modele si procese stochastice, Metode de simulare Monte Carlo, Statistica descriptiva, Statistica inferentiala, Analiza datelor statistice, Statistica actuariala, Econometrie, Econometrie aprofundata, Econometria datelor de panel, Econometria variabilelor calitative, Econometrie financiara, Econometrie spatiala, Metode de scoring, Metode de Bootstrap, Analiza seriilor cronologice, Analiza multidimensionala a datelor, Demografie, Previziuni macroeconomice, Teoria si practica sondajelor.
În prezent, departamentul are în componenta sa 15 cadre didactice proprii (5 profesori universitari, 4 conferentiari universitari, 5 lectori universitari si 1 asistent universitar) si 1 referent; la realizarea sarcinilor didactice mai contribuie 1 profesor universitar (Mureşan S. Anton). De asemenea, departamentul are colaborări şi cu numeroase cadre didactice din străinatate printre care: prof. dr. Marhuenda Francisco (Uni. Carlos III de Madrid, Spania), prof. dr. Sudholter Peter (Univ. Syddansk, Danemarca), prof. dr. Michel Denuit (Univ Catholique de Louvain, Belgia), prof. dr. Cristophe Hurlin (L’univ. d’Orleans, Franta), prof. dr. O mare parte din cadrele didactice din departament au efectuat stagii de cercetare la universitati de mare prestigiu din Franta, Italia, Olanda, Spania, Belgia, Scoţia si Ungaria. Departamentul de Statistică/Previziuni/Matematică are foarte bune legaturi de colaborare cu parteneri din tara de la universitati de prestigiu (Academia de Studii Economice Bucuresti, Universitatea de Vest Timisoara, Universitatea Al. I. Cuza din Iasi) si din străinatate (Universitatile din Orleans, Caen, Leeds, Carlos III de Madrid, Louvain, Trieste, Udine, Roma, Napoli, Universitatea din Murcia si Universitatea Liberă din Bruxelles).
DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS FORECASTS MATHEMATICS
The department is responsible for the following courses for undergraduate, master and PhD students: Mathematics for Economists, Games Theory with Applications, Financial and Actuarial Mathematics, Financial Calculus, Probability and Stochastic Processes, Monte Carlo Simulation Methods, Instruments of Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Inferential Statistics, Analysis of Statistical Data, Time Series Analysis, Statistics of Administration, Econometrics, Economic Forecasting, Computational Estimation Methods, Actuarial Statistics, Spatial Econometrics, Scoring Methods, Bootstrap Methods, Financial Econometrics, Econometrics of Qualitative Variables, Panel Data Econometrics, Demography. The staff of the department is also teaching a wide range of special courses for the master students from the Economic Faculty as well as from other faculties of Babeş-Bolyai University (e.g. European Studies Faculty). The department is also responsible for the Econometric and Applied Statistic master program.
The department consists of 15 full-time teachers. There are many co-operations with university staff from abroad: Prof. PhD Marhuenda Francisco (Uni. Some of the department staff had very fruitful research stages at well-known universities from France, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, and Hungary. The Department of Statistics-Forecasts-Mathematics has strong connections with Romanian and foreign universities (e.g. Orleans University, Leeds University, Louvain University, Caen University, Rome University, Trieste University, Udine University, Napoli University, Murcia University, Carlos III de Madrid University, Free University of Brussels).
