International Business Winter School: Academic Writing –Foundations and AI Integration

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Babeș-Bolyai University, in collaboration with the University of Allied Sciences Nordhausen, is set to host the second International Business Winter School, titled Academic Writing –Foundations and AI Integration , between February 24-28, 2025.

This program is designed to provide a structured approach to mastering academic writing. The course begins with foundational skills in research design, writing clarity, and manuscript preparation, focusing on traditional methods without the use of artificial intelligence (AI). In the latter part of the week, the program introduces advanced AI tools that enhance various aspects of the research process, including idea generation, literature synthesis, data management, and manuscript refinement. The final day is devoted to hands-on project work and presentations, ensuring that participants consolidate their learning and leave with practical skills applicable to their academic pursuits.

This edition of the International Business Winter School, will offer students from both the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the University of Allied Sciences Nordhausen ample networking opportunities. By collaborating and learning together, students will immerse themselves in the dynamic and engaging academic community at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

There are scholarship opportunities available for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. These scholarships will cover the full cost of participation, allowing selected students to attend free of charge the entire program. Students who are interested in attending should send a motivation letter (explaining why they wish to attend and how it aligns with their goals) and a CV (highlighting their academic and extracurricular achievements) to ovidiu.bordean@econ.ubbcluj.ro by February 18th.
