Workshop Objectives
This INFER workshop provides an opportunity for all economists interested in international economics to exchange ideas, to create links in research and to meet fellows in related subject. Researchers are invited to submit theoretical and applied papers broadly consistent with this year's special topic : "Opportunities for Growth, Trade and Investments after the Crisis". Topics to be discussed during the workshop might include: International Factor Movements, Trade Policy, Determinants of economic growth in open economies, Multinational firms, Economic Integration and other related issues. This workshop is meant to be a follow-up of the workshop organized in Brussels (June 23-24, 2011) on "Recent Issues in European Economic Integration and EU enlargement".
The workshop is open to anybody involved in economic issues related with the topic, including both young and experienced researchers from academics and research institutes, post-doctoral students, and professionals from business, government and non-governmental institutions.
The workshop is jointly organized by INFER (International Network for Economic Research) and Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca)
