Marko Sarstedt, professor at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and Lloyd C. Harris, professor at Birmingham University, both Adjunct Research Professors at UBB-FSEGA, are among the top 1% of the world's most cited scientists, considering all fields of science, according to data indexed in the Scopus database, following an analysis conducted in 2021 by Stanford University and Elsevier.

According to the results of Stanford University-Elsevier, the two Adjunct Research Professors of UBB-FSEGA are ranked 29th (Marko Sarstedt) and 35th (Lloyd C. Harris) in the list of the most influential researchers in the world in the field of Marketing.

At the same time, Árpád Baricz, professor at the Department of Business Administration in Sfântu Gheorghe of UBB-FSEGA, is among the first 2% of the most cited scientists in the world in the field of Mathematics. According to the results of Stanford University-Elsevier, the first 2% of the most cited scientists in Mathematics includes about 1300 researchers, prof. Árpád Baricz being the 460th in this list.
