We invite UBB-FSEGA teaching staff, researchers and PhD students to attend the workshop titled A (remotely) gentle introduction to generalized structured component analysis, delivered by Marko Sarstedt, Chaired Professor at LMU Munich School of Management, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, and Adjunct Research Professor at UBB-FSEGA.

The workshop will be held online, via Zoom, on 8 December 2023 (Friday), between 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Participants need to register in the FSEGA Online platform (Programe de dezvoltare a resursei umane), at least a week before the workshop. Registered participants will receive the Zoom link before the workshop, along with other information and/or materials.

Marko Sarstedt is one of the world’s most influential researchers (among Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers for the last five years). The methods developed by Marko Sarstedt together with his collaborators have become standards in the field, being widely adopted internationally. His research has been published in journals across various fields, such as Nature Human Behaviour, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Organizational Research Methods, MIS Quarterly, Psychometrika, British Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology, Decision Sciences, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of World Business, Journal of Business Research. Marko has co-authored four widely adopted textbooks, including A Primer on Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) (together with Joe F. Hair, G. Tomas M. Hult, and Christian M. Ringle), which has been translated into ten languages.
