Students will develop many transferable and work-related skills that are highly valued by employers and which will increase their employability, including the ability to:

  • understand key business functions such as marketing, human resources, accounting and finance, etc., in their wider organisational and social context;
  • perform an appropriate analysis of the internal and external environments;
  • contribute to the setting of strategic, tactical, and operational goals and plans, as well as to their implementation;
  • apply rational models to make effective and bias-free decisions;
  • practice principles of ethical behaviour in managerial decision-making situations;
  • engage in the major HRM activities, e.g., HR planning, staffing, compensating, etc.;
  • optimise the allocation of resources to ensure top-notch quality and cost minimisation;
  • understand the nature of leadership skills and behaviours within organisations;
  • put together reasoned arguments and question assumptions;
  • draw together, analyse and critically evaluate information;
  • implement appropriate analytical-quantitative and organisational- behavioural approaches;
  • communicate effectively, clearly and accurately with others.
