GOVERNANCE AND SOCIETY Symposium
This scientific event is dedicated to issues in the area of corporate governance both in relation to the organization environment and the society in general. The main objective of the symposium is to develop constructive debate on corporate governance and social responsibility issues characterizing developing economies between participants. Special emphasis is given to governance in a knowledge-based society related issues.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
- Financial reporting and risk management through corporate governance;
- Determinants of corporate governance in a knowledge-based society;
- Measuring and improving corporate governance's performance;
- Ensuring economic governance from the environmental reporting's perspective;
- Financial reporting for European groups of enterprises in the context of corporate governance;
- Strategic actions of economic entities and corporate governance;
- Performance as a measure of corporate governance's efficiency;
- Good audit practices in ensuring good corporate governance;
- Alternatives of improving governance at the supply chain level;
- Dimensions of creative accounting in the area of corporate governance;
- Corporate governance in the higher education system;
- Corporate governance in the financial and banking industry.
