The most recent edition (2024) of the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) international ranking in the fields of Business & Economics reinforces UBB-FSEGA's position as the best Romanian higher education institution in these domains.

Published on October 26, 2023, the 2024 edition places UBB-FSEGA in the global position of 501-600, solidifying its status as the undisputed leader among Romanian universities in the field, for the second consecutive year.

The 2024 edition of THE's international rankings encompassed a total of 909 higher education institutions worldwide that qualified for evaluation based on stringent quality standards. According to this edition, only five Romanian universities secured a place in the global Business & Economics ranking.

UBB-FSEGA stands out as the highest-ranked institution in Romania in this domain, securing the 501-600 position, surpassing other Romanian universities that made it to the ranking: West University of Timișoara (position 601-800), Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), and Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (all positioned in the 801+ range of the ranking).

The hierarchy published by Times Higher Education underscores UBB-FSEGA's outstanding progress in the field of Business & Economics. UBB-FSEGA made its debut in this prestigious ranking in 2018, initially holding a position comparable to three other Romanian universities. However, the university's trajectory diverged in 2022, establishing UBB-FSEGA as a leader with distinct merit among Romanian institutions included in this international ranking.
