The international case study competition organized by IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, took place between February 18-23, 2024, including two finals.

The UBB-FSEGA students' team delivered a unique performance in this competition, being the only university to qualify for both finals.

The UBB-FSEGA team consisted of the following students:
✓ Antal András (Finance and Banking, third year)
✓ Bugár Anna (Finance and Banking, third year)
✓ Kovács Kata (Finance and Banking, third year)
✓ Tófalvi Krisztián (Business Information Systems, second year).

They were accompanied by Professor Ph.D. Szász Levente, the team coordinator, and received training in collaboration with lecturer Ph.D. Rácz Béla-Gergely and associate professor Ph.D. Györfy Lehel.

The UBB-FSEGA team competed against universities from the United States, Germany, and Mexico in the preliminaries of the first round, qualifying for the final of the competition, where they managed to secure the top position.
